Nicholas King At this concert we made £112.

The concert got off to a great start with Nicholas playing Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor perhaps everybody's favourite piece of organ music. It was certainly one of my favourites. Nicholas used all the capabilities of the organ from the thundering sound to some exceedingly soft and mute tones. From my vantage point it was amazing to watch him move from manual to maual. The music was brought alive to me by watching how the different sounds were produced from the different parts of the organ.

Listen to an excerpt from Bach's Toccata and Fugue played by Nicholas King on the St Mary's Makin Organ.
