The professionals do a much better job. A organ like the Walker needs retuning about 3-4 times a year. With an expert ear and the correct tools, what will take us days can be accomplished in hours or even minutes.

At the Walker's inaugral concert a quick tuning took the Shepherd brothers a matter of minutes.

Identifying the correct pipe was nearly instantaneous. Talking to them in the nave they could identify which note on which pipe was out as the organ was played.

It is a pleasure to watch to gentlemen fix the organ so quickly and accurately.

We await the next tuning of the Walker organ to put our tuning right and the fix the pipes that we don't know how to fix.
