View from the bridge to the knell

This year the choir went to the Abbey for two consecutive Sundays. The first week doing Matins and the second a Choral Eucharist. Again this year we were supported by several old friends who came to help us out, to swell the numbers and the sound.

A Rehearsal in the quire

We had a tight rehearsal schedule, rehearsing on the Friday at the Abbey, then on Saturday at St Marys after the weddings and then on the Sunday before each of the services. The soloists for the first week were Paul and Michael singing Irelands Greater Love and for the second weekend Debbie singing the Benedictus from Hydans Little Mass.
