Walk around the outside

History of the Church

These photographs show the chancel before the fire in the vestry. The best information that is available sugguests that the artwork was done in about the 1850's.

The vaulted ceilings were coverd in fine artwork

. All these photographs were taken by Lindsay Kemp.

The central rose in gold from which a chandelier whould presumably have hung.

.I can just about make out the words Gloria maybe Laud and Honor below
