Tuning the organ
Restoring the Organ

The Walker Pipe organ gave its first public performance on 12th March 2006 after being quiet for so many years. Simon Pusey the director of music treated the congregation to a rendition of JS Bach's Fugue in G minor from BWV 542 Fantasia and Fugue.

The organ will take a bit of getting used to. Simon said that it is strange to be playing an unfamiliar organ in such familiar surroundings.

The newly restored pedal board after being adjusted on the Friday 10th March.

All the pipes have been cleaned and tuned.

All the electropneumatics are in place on all the pipes and stops
